This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through beachbum.com, any webpage that links to this Privacy Policy, online accounts, forms, purchases, marketing communications, and other online or wireless offerings that post a link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

Consumer Communication

To ensure that customer inquiries are handled accurately, courteously, and promptly, phone calls between you and Beach Bum or our affiliates may be recorded. We may from time to time make calls and/or send text messages to you at any telephone number associated with your account or otherwise provided to us.

The manner in which these calls or text messages are made may include, but is not limited to, the use of prerecorded or artificial voice messages and/or an automatic telephone dialing system where permitted by law. By providing your telephone number, you certify, warrant, and represent that the telephone number you provide is your contact number and that you are permitted to receive calls and messages at that number. You agree that Beach Bum may send emails to any email address you provide, or use other electronic means of communication, to the extent permitted by law.

We will only use the phone number provided for communications you have opted into, such as marketing messages, transactional alerts, or service updates. We will not send messaging you have not opted in for or share this data for unrelated third-party marketing.

Text Messaging Privacy

All categories of personal information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for their own purposes, except as necessary with aggregators, carriers, and providers of text messaging services to enable delivery of messages you have requested or consented to receive.

If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us, you may opt out by following the instructions in the message, such as replying STOP to text messages where available, using the unsubscribe link in marketing emails, contacting us at help@beachbum.com, calling us at 844-232-2428, or mailing us at the address listed in the Contact Us section below. Please note that it may take up to 10 calendar days to remove your contact information from certain marketing communications lists, so you may receive correspondence for a short time after your request.

Please contact us to update or correct your information if it changes or if you believe information we have collected about you is inaccurate.

Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services through the Services. When payment is required, we may use third-party payment processors, including Shopify or payment providers connected to Shopify, to process transactions.

We do not directly store or collect your full payment card details. Payment information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their own privacy policies and security practices. Payment processors may adhere to PCI-DSS standards designed to help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Retention of Information

Do Not Track Requests

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” settings. Because there is not currently a uniform standard for recognizing or responding to Do Not Track signals, we do not monitor or respond to Do Not Track browser requests. We will continue to handle information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Using the Services from Outside the United States

If you use the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States, where our servers, service providers, and central business operations may be located. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to the United States and processed as described in this Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect personally identifiable information online from children under 13.
